Экономика Украины падает быстрее, чем ожидалось

Минэкономики ожидало падение ВВП в первом квартале на 0,9%, но цифры оказались хуже — 1,2%.

В первом квартале 2020 года экономика Украины сократился на 1,2%, сообщается на сайте Минэкономики во вторник, 12 мая.

«Как и ожидалось, по результатам марта падение экономики углубилось», – говорится в сообщении.

При этом по итогам первых двух месяцев его оценка составляла 0,2%. А по итогам квартала ожидалось падение на 0,9%.

Так, сокращение сводного индекса производства (СИП) по итогам первого квартала достигло 3,8% по сравнению с 1,8% по итогам двух месяцев.

По данным ведомства, на это повлиял как эффект базы сравнения (в марте 2019 году рост СИП ускорился с 0,5% до 2,6%), так и первые негативные последствия распространения в мире коронавируса. Среди них МЭРТ назвал логистические проблемы и уменьшение спроса в мире на отечественную промышленную и сельскохозяйственную продукцию, а также введение карантинных мер для сдерживания пандемии внутри страны.

«Негативный эффект от пандемии в марте преимущественно ощутили производства, которые зависят от мирового спроса (металлургия и машиностроение). В то время как, наоборот, из-за увеличения спроса увеличилось производство фармацевтической продукции и бытовой химии», — говорится в обзоре.

 

Национальный банк ранее оценил падение ВВП в первом квартале в 0,5%.

По прогнозам НБУ, в 2020 году экономика Украины упадет на 5%, но в 2021 году вырастет на 4,3%.
