Глава МИД РФ Сергей Лавров провёл телефонные переговоры с финским коллегой Пеккой Хаависто по поводу ситуации на границе двух государств. Об этом сообщило российское внешнеполитическое ведомство.
Лавров и Хаависто обменялись мнениями о возможных сроках снятия ограничений на пересечение границы, введённых из-за пандемии коронавируса.
В конце июля сообщалось, что граница Финляндии останется закрытой для россиян до 25 августа.
