Источник агентства в США информировал, что в Бельгии госсекретарь планирует обсудить «действия России, направленные на Украину».

Глава американского Госдепа Энтони Блинкен возвращается в столицу Бельгии менее чем через месяц после своего первого визита, чтобы обсудить вопросы, связанные с Украиной, Россией, Ираном и Афганистаном. Об этом в воскресенье, 11 апреля, сообщило агентство Reuters.

По данным издания, «официальный представитель США» уточнил, что госсекретарь намерен обсудить в Брюсселе, в том числе, «действия России, направленные на Украину».

Как известно, официальное заявление о поездке главы Госдепа в Брюссель пока не обнародовано.

Отметим, накануне упомянутого вероятного визита Блинкен в эфире телеканала NBC заявил, что в случае агрессии РФ в отношении Украины последует немедленная реакция Белого дома.

«Президент Байден очень четко высказался об этом. Если Россия будет действовать безрассудно или агрессивно, будут последствия», — уточнил госсекретарь.

При этом он добавил, что его тоже очень беспокоят «действия России на границе с Украиной», поскольку к ней стянуто максимальное после 2014 года число российских войск.

Напомним, ранее о визите Блинкена в Брюссель на будущей неделе сообщало агентство Bloomberg. По его данным, глава Госдепа проведет ряд встреч с партнерами США по НАТО.
