Турецкие военные нейтрализовали семь членов РПК

Москва, 7 мая — АиФ-Москва.

Минобороны и МВД Турции сообщили о ликвидации семи четырех членов запрещенной в стране Рабочей партии Курдистана (РПК), передает РИА Новости.

Четверых членов РПК нейтрализовали на севере Ирака, их обнаружили и уничтожили в ходе воздушной операции. Еще троих ликвидировали в турецкой провинции  Тунджели. Как пишут турецкие СМИ, среди убитых есть Мехмет Фатих Демир, которого подозревают в причастности к теракту против турецких военных в августе 2016 года. Он был в списке особо опасных преступников.

Напомним, что конфликт с РПК обострился в 2015 году. По данным Турции, в результате нападений курдских повстанцев страна потеряла более 900 военных и около 500 мирных граждан. За этот период Анкара нейтрализовала более 10 тысяч членов РПК. В прошлом году Турция начала масштабную операцию.
