Москва, 30 мая — АиФ-Москва.

Мэр города Миннеаполис в американском штате Миннесота Джейкоб Фрей ввел комендантский час в связи с акциями протеста из-за смерти афроамериканца Джорджа Флойда, передает ТАСС.

«Мэр Фрей задействовал чрезвычайную меру <…>, которая предусматривает введение в городе Миннеаполис комендантского часа с 20:00 29 мая и в течение выходных», — говорится в указе.

Отмечается, что комендантский час действует с 20:00 до 06:00 в ночь на субботу и на воскресенье. За нарушение запрета вводятся штраф в размере от $1 тыс. и выше, а также лишение свободы на срок от 90 дней.

Ранее в городе был введен режим ЧС. Напомним, что протесты в Миннесоте начались после того, как в соцсетях была опубликована видеозапись задержания Флойда. Мужчина лежал на земле в наручниках, а один из сотрудников полиции прижимал его шею коленом к асфальту.
