Захарова обвинила США в попытке дискредитировать деятельность РФ в космосе

Москва, 6 ноября — АиФ-Москва.

Официальный представитель МИД России Мария Захарова прокомментировала новые обвинения американской стороны в адрес российской стороны относительно разработки и испытания противоспутникового оружия наземного и космического базирования.

Соответствующее заявление опубликовано на сайте ведомства. По словам Захаровой, Вашингтон подобными высказываниями пытается дискредитировать действия и инициативы РФ по предотвращению гонки вооружений в космосе. 

«Американские коллеги вновь пытаются представить ситуацию в искаженном виде с тем, чтобы отвлечь внимание международной общественности от реальных угроз в космосе, оправдать предпринимаемые ими шаги по размещению оружия в космическом пространстве и добиться выделения дополнительного финансирования под эти цели», — пояснила представитель министерства.

В связи с этим Мария Захарова подчеркнула, что действия России в космосе не создают помех или трудностей для работы иностранных космических аппаратов и соответствуют международному праву, в частности, базовому Договору по космосу 1967 года.

Ранее глава российского государства Владимир Путин назвал приоритеты страны в космосе.
